kind of creepy that they're that close, but they are.  And there are a lot of them.  I don't even have my bird feeders out yet, just in case.  I've lost too many feeders and have had bear snot and paw prints on my front windows where they were after one of the suction cup feeders I had on the window.  I don't want to draw them in at all!!  Don't enjoy seeing them, don't want them anywhere near my house, don't want the neighbors feeding them, either.

There's a den that looks suspiciously like a bear den (pretty big hole entrance) just off the cut off road between the cut-off and your road.  If you ride up the cut-off road and look in it's on the side of the old railroad track bed.
